Film and TV School of Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (FAMU) is one of the three resources of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague (DAMU, FAMU, HAMU) and the fifth most established film school in Europe. Its understudies' movies are perceived with many honors at film celebrations all throughout the planet consistently. FAMU's examination programs join both useful and hypothetical methodologies, on account of which understudies gain a complete arrangement of abilities and information expected to work in all callings of film, TV, photography and new media. In mid 1960's, it filled in as a hatchery for youthful craftsmen who thusly became well known as the Czechoslovak New Wave. It was the best commitment to the world's cinematography up to that point, and it procured Czechoslovakia – entomb alia – two Oscars for Best Foreign Films. FAMU is an establishing individual from the International Association of Film and Television Schools (CILECT), European League of Institutes of the Arts (ELIA), European Grouping of Film and Television Schools (GEECT) and European Film Academy, and an institutional individual from the Czech Society for Film Studies (CEFS). FAMU assumes a significant part in including its instructors and scientists in global expert associations, and works together with Czech Television and unfamiliar TV organizations also. FAMU is additionally an institutional individual from the Association for Film and Audiovisual Education.
